Barn conversion to live/work unit

The applicants for this application required a home as well as a place to consolidate their building business. We established that the barn was able to be converted without harming the character of the building, and could provide a workshop, office and meeting space, as well as a family home. Through negotiation with the local planning authority, the large redundant barn was given a new lease of life, and the business is now thriving.
